My latest book is The Cashmere Sweater and Other Stories.  It’s available digital e-book readers and pc’s, and there’s more about it on the Kindle page.  It’s the first time I’ve written entirely about childhood, which is to say, all the main characters are actually children.  I placed the story in my home town neighborhood, the Myers Park section of Charlotte, and of course, as all writers know, parts of it are autobiographical, and parts of it are not, are dramatized.

The Longest Mobile Home in the Blue Ridge Mountains is on Kindle option-4-copy.jpgand Nook.  There’s more about it on those pages.

The Last Southern Novel

A fun memoir piece about an ex-wife, our dog, Mexico and living in the wilds of Maine.  Published in Garden and Gun magazine.

Also:   One of the stories about childhood came out in the inaugural issue of the online magazine, The Raleigh Quarterly. It’s about poor little Leslie at the age of 6.
